Laguna Bernardin Water Park

Divided into two interconnected portions, and embracing 1000 m2 of water across nine pools and whirlpools, the Laguna Bernardin is the largest indoor heated seawater park complex on the Slovene coast.

In fine summer weather the facility is open to the beach via a terrace, while in winter the seawater is heated to 26 to 36 °C in the indoor pools, and from 34 to 36 °C in the whirlpools, whereas the ambient air temperature is set at a steady 36 °C. Laguna Bernardin also encompasses Finnish and Turkish saunas, as well as a solarium and various massages.

Water sports enthusiasts can attend a scuba diving course in the newly refurbished PADI 5 Star Diving Centre where professionally qualified instructors provide lessons - in several foreign languages - in accordance with professional international standards.

The water park and its several swimming pools offer a wide range of water activities where you will find a new source of energy and well-being. You will relax in the magic of the blue sea water pools surrounded by luxurious Mediterranean vegetation and beautiful open sea views.

The quiet western part is suitable for people looking for a peaceful and relaxed holiday. There is a swimming pool (20x10m, 1.8 m deep), a round recreational pool (diameter 10 m) with massage beds, and five whirlpools. The eastern part of the water park is intended for more dynamic water activities. It is ideal for families with children and for people who like water games. There are two pools suitable for children with slides, flumes and geysers. Next to the children's pools, there is a swimming pool (25x7.5 m, 1.8 m deep) with resting bays and different water attractions: water roundabouts, water cannons and massage jets.

Mediterranean Swimming Pool

In 2008 the Paradise Spa Wellness Centre within the Grand Hotel Bernardin acquired an attractive indoor swimming pool affording a magnificent view of the sea below. Swimming in this prestigious pool, both in winter and summer, is an experience to be remembered.
